π― BUILT A BIG LIST IN AI OR TECH?

Did you grow a newsletter to 250K+ subscribers in AI, tech, or video games?Monetized or not, we've got a serious buyer looking.
Reply and let's talk. ([email protected])
WHAT TWO WEEKS OF GUESSING TAUGHT US
For the last two Mondays I hid the prices on real newsletters and asked what you'd pay. Hundreds of you played. Two clear lessons came out.
1- You know how to value revenue-based newsletters. The finance letter with 7,481 subscribers sold for $30,000, because it made money. Your guesses on the earning ones were spot on. Buyers know how to value cash flow.
2- For a big engaged list, the right buyer pays for time, not revenue. The AI newsletter had 105,681 subscribers but light revenue. Most of you valued it at less than half of what it actually sold for!
Why? If an asset isn't right for you, you'll most likely underprice it, and the person it's right for won't. Worth isn't always fixed; it depends on who's looking.
Building a list that big and engaged takes time, or a fortune in ads. Buy it, and you skip all of that: the audience is yours on day one. That head start is what the buyer paid for, not the current income.
Which is the whole point: every newsletter has its buyer.
Our mission is pricing fairly, not too high, not too low. None of it is a precise science, so we keep listening, keep adjusting, and keep getting better. Thanks for helping us get there!
π° ACQUISITION NEWS
This week, Latestly.ai, the AI newsletter created by Marco Fazio in only 18 months, got sold! Our original valuation was $320K.
The team managed to grow a profitable asset and exit in such a short time. It keeps demonstrating the power and value of newsletters.
Congratulations to all parties involved. π€
